| Description | Hi Kerwin When calling the optimizeMemory() API from the home UI, SKB is trying to implement a kill except for the process (App) in the process list defined in process_list.dat https://jira.skbroadband.com/browse/BTF-590 Please check if there is any apps (APK) distributed by FXN, and please let me know which of these apps should not be killed. ( white list ) If you let me know the app list, SKB will register them in process_list.dat. Thank you YK.Jung | ||||

Hi Kerwin and River SetupWizard customizer: "com.vasott.leanbacklauncher.partnercustomizer" PAI:android.autoinstalls.config.skb.bfx_ua300 Are these apps that have to work all the time? SKB is asking if it is okay not to include the above apps in the whitelist. Thank you YK.Jung |

Hi YK, Both SetupWizard and PAI don't have to work all the time, but they should be in SKB's whitelist. PAI is used to install user's app and is running in background. We worry if PAI is killed unexpectedly, 3PL or Google may report issue and don't give approval for SW release. For SetupWizard, it is designed as a service and will be restarted if it is killed. We should not to let system keep restarting this service. Thank you .. |
